To frame this unique screenprint in three colours on paper, titled 'Icicles' 2017 by site-responsive contemporary artist Fiona Grady we picked something equally mint. We chose a blue grey 'Flint' frame, which is one of a new unfinished real wood veneer-wrapped aluminium range, providing a deep profile with a narrow edge and the strength from a metal frame. Visit us to see the range which includes Ash, Maple, Oak, Walnut and Slate. The natural grain of wood along with the sharp edges worked effectively with the geometric shapes and nature of the artwork. As it is an original unique screenprint which we wanted to protect as well as it to look cool, we mounted it floating in an extra-thick cotton-core mount with Anti-Reflective UV-Filtered Museum Glass.
